The manufacturer warrants all products it produces and distributes to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, provided that (1) the product was properly installed and (2) recommendations were followed with regard to limitations and specifications.
The obligation of The Blind Man System is limited to repair or replacement of the blinds or components found to be defective and excludes shipping charges incurred for the return of the product to the customer by The Blind Man System, and any other incidental espenses incurred in the removal and re-installation of the product(s).
This warranty does not cover any losses or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, water damage caused by condensation, or failure to follow our instructions with respect to cleaning or maintenance.
Slight warpage in the natural wood product as well as grain effect and color variations are considered normal and not defects. In addition normal wear and tear, i.e., color fading from sunlight, are not covered by this warranty. If your window treatment doesn't fit, The Blind Man System will provide a new one at no cost. No cash refunds will be issued, as all of the products are custom made. Exchange must be the same product and color, additional charges may apply if there's a price difference between the old and new blinds. Exchange must occur within 15 days of delivery to your home.
This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other written or oral warranties or obligations and liabilities. The Blind Man System, shall have no liability whatsoever incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you also may have other rights which vary from state to state.
